I want to start this one with a question – What do you think you deserve, and why do you believe that?
A lot of people will buy things such as cars, homes, luxury watches, etc. because they have reached a certain level in their career, or accomplished a goal that they deem fits them into a certain category.
”I deserve this” they say to themselves as they pull the trigger on a mortgage they can barely afford.
I’m going to fuck you up with some truth here. This cycle, this mentality, is going to keep you working until you’re 80 fuckin’ years old.
Do you know what you actually deserve? You don’t deserve a fuckin’ BMW, that’s for sure. What you actually deserve is to worry less about money than you did before. You deserve security, not useless shit to impress people that don’t actually care anyways.
